Beautiful setting and wonderful staff

I recently enjoyed a fantastic overnight stay in a Junior Suite, set in stunning grounds that offered a peaceful escape. The room was luxurious, complete with complimentary treats, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive throughout my visit. Breakfast was superb, featuring a range of delicious options that made for a delightful start to the day. I did notice a slight delay during checkout which could be improved.

Enjoyed luxurious room amenities, but dining options were limited and disappointing.

The outdated bathroom facilities need attention!!! The noise levels from events disrupted our relaxation, and management should be more responsive to complaints!!!

Highly Recommend for Families!

The rooms here are absolutely fantastic. The spacious design allowed my family to feel right at home, and the cleanliness was top-notch, they maintain a well-kept place.

It wasn’t budget-friendly, but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Plenty of free parking available, which is a huge plus. The hotel has a charming historic vibe, well-maintained with modern amenities, making it comfortable yet nostalgic.

The outdoor grounds could use better weatherproofing. muddy paths after rain are less than ideal. While the breakfast coffee hit the spot, the buffet left much to be desired—items like fruit were missing, and some that were present had mold. Dining at the Oak Room didn’t live up to expectations either. the beef Wellington was notably subpar, and access to basic kitchenware during breakfast was frustratingly inconsistent.

This place suits me perfectly with friendly staff, cozy bar lounge, and convenient express check-in. I remember my first stay when they offered me a hot drink in the cold. Highly recommend for a lovely stay. Coming back for a city break!

Charming stay with fab food

We had dinner in the restaurant, and wow, the roast beef was amazing! The service was super attentive, too. Our room was comfy, but the chicken dish we tried was kinda dry. Still, breakfast was perfect—eggs benedict all the way! Just wished the hotel wasn’t so warm inside, felt like the doors needed to be open more.

Exceptional Stay with Memorable Dining

My partner and I enjoyed a delightful stay in the Classic Family Room. The interior featured stunning wood details, creating an inviting atmosphere. We had dinner at the Oak Room, where the attentive staff and exceptional meal exceeded our expectations. Early morning breakfast fueled our exploration of beautiful Surrey!

The classic double room provided excellent amenities and the staff's warmth stood out throughout my stay. Dining at the Benson restaurant was a highlight, with high-quality dishes like extraordinary seafood offerings. the noise from doors closing in the corridor was somewhat disruptive, and the soundproofing between rooms could be improved. it’s a beautiful setting that I would gladly return to.

We had a really nice time here. The ambiance was charming and the staff were super attentive. Our room was clean, but kinda small. It was a bummer our continental breakfast got delayed, and we got charged for it even though we barely had time to eat. They did have a nice bar area for chilling, tho.
